I recently had the chance to visit an amazing shelter place where there was this awesome women who was super positive and helpful. She did a great job explaining all the different shelter options available to us. Her descriptions were spot-on and helped us understand exactly what each option offered. It was so nice of her to take the time to explain everything in detail and give us a good choice for where to store our furniture and stuff. The service was top-notch, and the shelter options were really nice. I highly recommend this place if you need a safe and reliable spot to store your things.

Better than average + clean

This was my first time renting a storage unit. Customer service gave me a great deal over the phone. But when I got to my storage unit in New Castle, DE the property manager Molly absolutely was the best. Helped me thru the paperwork while she was training someone. Awesome job! Deserves a raise. Definitely recommend this company and site.

Disappointed in the time frame that they gave to me 9:30 and I have to wait three hours more . Before driver showed up, but other than being late, the driver was very nice.

The New Castle, Delaware site has truly turned around for the better. The temporary site manager Molly with the assistance of the staff has done an excellent job at correcting a lot of the ongoing issues there. I have had nothing but positive experiences when needing assistance. Thank you for the wonderful change.

The facility is starting to go downhill. The elevators don't work, no carts provided and lights out all over the place. Seems to be very secure but lack of upkeep in concerning.

Bad reviews seem to be paragraphs long but the good ones never seem to be more than a few sentences. Storing here for years and while things are not perfect I have been pleased with the current staff. They came in a handful of months back and I must say I have seen clear attempts at improving this facility. Not even just with the upkeep of the grounds but also their relationship with us tenants. Alison and Darlane are both so pleasant when I am on site, they don't even get upset when I cant remember my access code or the codes to the bathrooms. I see them regularly out cleaning up the trash that was just discarded on the ground by inconsiderate people. In addition I have witnessed them push through some challenging circumstances (who knew the world of self storage was so eventful) Example: The whole power went out the other morning and while most things came right back up the gate system and elevator did not. They provided suitable work arounds so that customers could still access their things while things were sorted out. When I returned the next day the gate and elevator were both functioning properly again. I just wanted to highlight a few things that I had recently observed instead of just leaving the stars. I was at the facility earlier this evening and took a few photos to include too.... Thanks for all your help over the past few months girls!

My father passed away a few months ago and I've been tasked to handle his estate. I went down there last week with my proper documents so I could close out his account/clean out his storage unit. The lady at the front desk (I believe her name was Allyson?) Was super helpful, & friendly. I have dealt with a lot of companies the past few weeks and by far today went the smoothest out of all of them! Thank you!

The new property manager is a lovely lady. She was attentive to my questions and provided honest answers. I appreciated that because a lot of people will just tell you what they think you want to hear.

Tini is a gem! I would recommend iStorage because of her. She is professional - pleasant - responsive - knowledgeable and PATIENT! Dealing with customers when they are going through a most stressful time of life cannot be easy. But Tini gets it all done with a SMILE (though I have never met her in person). If this facility keeps her around - they will always have happy customers who refer others.

What separates one storage facility from another is service. Tini completely understands the importance of customer service and has been informative, helpful, responsive, honest, and truly has my best interests in mind. Tini is old school being she goes the extra mile for her customer - a rarity today -and the reason I have stayed a customer these past several months .

The wife and I have a smaller unit at this iStorage but needed a larger one due to the fact she is a second grade school teacher. We want to store a lot of books that she has bought since she started teaching. Ms Tini showed me the perfect unit for our needs. Ms. Shierra Helped me the day I actually went in to rent the unit and also was very polite and knowledgeable. As she was doing my paperwork a couple of other renters came in and needed help. I was anxious about using commercial storage facilities, however, the team at this facility, particularly a young man named (Couch)...lol(working in a storage facility) I thought he made it up. I was ecstatic to find an online deal that included a free lock and key. Only a $15 Fee to move in! The staffer was very helpful, she worked diligently to ensure I was getting the right size unit, she was professional, courteous and knowledgeable. If necessary, I would store with them again.
